We may hope that our faith will deepen by experiencing one mountain top experience after another in ever increasing degrees. Further, we may assume that God can only be found in the joys of life. However, Scripture describes our faith development differently. Often, God isn’t found on the mountain but in the valley. This week, we will hear from Josh Sun on how various struggles led to a faith breakthrough.

No Women’s Arts & Crafts Social in July
Please note that there will not be a Women’s Arts & Crafts Social in July. They will resume next month on August 30.
Worship Service at the Beach — August 2
Join us at our annual Beach Worship Service on Sun., Aug. 2, at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz! Come for worship at 11:00am, bring lunch, and stay for the afternoon. All are welcome! If you need a ride, or you have extra space in your car to offer a ride, let us know here.
On the morning of August 2, there will be no worship service, Life Groups, or Sunday school classes for children or youth on the Bridges campus. If you’re unable to make it to the beach, the Mariner class will gather at 10:00am in the Family Center Room 525. All are welcome! There will be plenty of coffee and goodies to enjoy.
ManDay — August 15
ManDay 2026 is locked in for Sat., Aug. 15, at 9:00am! Come hang out, eat a complimentary breakfast, and hear from our speaker, Pastor Joshua Smith! Afterward you’re invited to join an activity of your choice: golf, hiking, axe throwing, target shooting, escape room, pickleball, or bowling. Registration is open now through Aug. 8 and is mandatory for everyone (even if you are only coming for the free breakfast) so we can get an accurate headcount for food and bookings.
Help Feed Dinner to Local Homeless
Join MUCH Hope as they serve local homeless at a shelter in San Jose by providing monthly dinners. Lots of help is needed whether it’s for 30 minutes or 2 hours!
