We just celebrated our 85th anniversary as a church, and now we turn the page from our first 85 to our NEXT85. As we look ahead, we trust that God is leading us into a future where His truth and grace will continue to shine through us for generations to come.

This Week’s Message – “Growing Faith”
Speaker: Bill Dwyer
Series: This is My Story
Scripture Focus: Philippians 1:6, 2:12
It’s often not until we look back that we begin to understand how God worked in our lives—but that is exactly what He was doing. At each step along the way, He was planting seeds and ensuring that they grow. This week, we will hear from Bill Dwyer, who will share how God initiated and deepened his faith.
A BCC Group is a gathering of people just like you who come together each week in a relaxed setting to share their lives, their insights into the Bible, and their gifts and talents for serving Jesus Christ. Life’s a journey, and the happiest people walk the road with others. Find your own traveling companions in a BCC Group.

ManDay — August 15
ManDay 2026 is locked in for Sat., Aug. 15, at 9:00am! Come hang out, eat a complimentary breakfast, and hear from our speaker, Pastor Joshua Smith! Afterward you’re invited to join an activity of your choice: golf, hiking, axe throwing, target shooting, escape room, pickleball, or bowling. Registration is open and is mandatory for everyone (even if you are only coming for the free breakfast) so we can get an accurate headcount for food and bookings.
Into the Deep on Break
Our women’s Thursday morning Bible study, Into the Deep, will be on break 8/13 and 8/20. Join us on 8/27 when we pick up our study of Proverbs!
Anew — August 22
Adult singles are invited to the Anew Life Group, which meets one Saturday each month from 5:30-8:00pm at Bridges. Through examining the Bible, sharing of testimonies, and small group discussions, we grow our faith in Christ and learn to apply Biblical principles to our daily lives.
Membership: It’s Not For You (It’s for the Community)
Register today for our next Membership Intro Meeting, “It’s Not For You (It’s for the Community)”, led by Pastor Dan. Join us right after the worship service on Sun., Aug. 30, and hear about the meaning of membership at Bridges! Lunch will be provided and childcare is available, but you must register by August 26.
Women’s Arts & Crafts Social — August 30
Women of all ages are invited to an Arts & Crafts Social on the last Sunday of each month, 12:15-3:30pm in the Family Center Room 524. Bring a lunch (or come after lunch) and bring your own craft project: knitting, scrapbooking, quilting, jewelry making, card making, painting—whatever you like doing! If you don’t have a craft project, come enjoy the fellowship and be inspired to start a new hobby. Bringing snacks to share is optional. Questions? Contact Liliya in the church office: liliya@bridges.church.
